Meeting Summary – Monday, 6th April

Ongoing Items:

  • Portaloo for a year until we get the proper ones sorted?
  • Portaloo to buy – Aidan will put some links for loos to buy into the group chat so we can choose.
  • Paintball – would love to join in with us for emptying
  •  Email Bill to ask him if he can email all other clubs to see if they have a portaloo/want one & would be keen to join in on getting them emptied.

Luke – Social Media

  • TV – plan re safety video – volunteers – Starring Moose, Hayden, Aidan, Q – filming & editing by Luke. Luke’s friend Matt Kennedy is able to do this at the end of the month – Luke to confirm what he is after as payment. We want this to reinforce the culture, but we will still need to have the chat in the mornings – video to back up the morning briefing, but not replace it entirely. Happy to wait for Matt – delay a couple of months till he’s ready.
  • User Profile Page/Introduce user sign in by next committee meeting – will be ready to go in the next month or so – just some fine tuning to make it easy. All team members must have a valid user profile page, which will have all relevant information.
  • Discussion re online store – Luke & Q – prebook online option, order everything & pay when they collect at TAC on the day.

Treasurer

  • Bank balance: $29,330 including $10,000 grant
  •  Spending:
    • ASNZ Annual Subscription $620
    • Tractor
      • $20,000 deposit including $10,000 grant
      • $17,813 financed over 3 years, monthly repayment $494.81
      • Budget $200 for signage acknowledging PubCharity support
  • Q would like for us to order a special container for this tractor – to be placed on the field somewhere – Nic to look into pricing for 20 footer delivered – full steel. CQB find of area drop off.
  • Moving Website hosting from Vision Labs to Q’s hosting with WPengine. This is planned for tomorrow, and should be ready by the end of month.
  • Q/Luke to look into recreating emails with no names/or fixing current ones.
  • Facebook Admin back with Q & Luke

Dan – Games Master

  • Query re more people to have gate access codes – Luke/Craig to get access – Aidan to follow up with Bill to get people loaded. cc Q please.
  • Suggestions re: Moose replacement – Club Liaison (?)
  • InterClub event update
    • Gate access for across the road – email to Bill again re access.
    • Barrel fire approval – Aidan to email Bill & ask if ok
    • Toilet hire
    • Confirmed numbers/RSVP?
  • Facebook – more posts – photos from old events & game days. push the page & promote TAC now we have access back. Danilo to send photos for Luke to upload.

General business

  • 4th game vetting completed for new members
    • Luke Briscoe – approved
    • Bella Rutten – approved
  • Approval to be given to members who want to use Orange tag & up. Doug has found the letter, and we can reinstate the policy.
    • Suggestion to look at high green tag guns, and make a 10m MED
    • Bring yellows range down another 5-10 j, to get high greens to behave in yellow tags rules/MED
    • Approval for the above Hot Weapons letter required – Doug will change to pdf & email to Aidan to send to the committee
    • To be sent to Club presidents of anyone attending from outside of TAC, so they can approve the member using our classification of hot weapons – Yellow, Orange, Red.
